RESIDENCIES

We offer tailored artistic residencies.

MOtiVE Brooklyn goes beyond the usual residency. We first meet with the artist and discuss their dreams and needs. Then we build a structure and timeline together that includes supportive services for the residency. These services could include production, dramaturgy, mentorship, accountability, performance opportunities, writing labs, technical support and/or expertise in a specific art form. We believe in giving agency to the artist in designing their own residency, allowing ideas to be realized according to practices of the artist.
