Kali Petrizzo and Lily Mello are Brooklyn-based artistic collaborators and BFA graduates in dance from the University of the Arts, where they studied under Donna Faye Burchfield. In 2022, they formed the choreographic duo Sheer Spectacle, creating work that explores themes of queer intimacy, fantasy, dedication, and the intersections of life, loss, and triumph. Sheer Spectacle's original choreographic work has been performed at Headlong Dance Theater, IceBox Project Space, The Center at West Park, Gibney, Philadelphia Dance Theater, Ruba Club, Philly PACK, University of the Arts, the Maas Building, 92NY Harkness Dance Center and Index Space NYC. Their newest work will premiere in May at Judson Memorial Church, produced by the EstroGenius Festival.
