SAVANNAH JADE DOBBS

Savannah (She/They) - originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, is a New York City-based professional dance artist. After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) in 2021, she transitioned to New York. Over the course of their professional career, Savannah has gotten the opportunity to learn, collaborate and perform works by Merce Cunningham, Caroline Fermin, Shen Wei, Ravid Abarbanel, Dafi Altabeb, Trisha Brown, Yin Yue, Larry Keigwin, Juel Lane, Ja' Malik, Celia Rowlson-Hall and many more. Savannah is currently an active dancer and works as a cross-disciplinary collaborator in film, visual art, and choreography. Sav has facilitated all-arts inclusive jams with UNCSA, MOtiVE Dance, and Synaptic People to fulfill her passion for creating spaces for people to feel safe to express, experiment, and thrive authentically as themselves as multifaceted creatures.
